About

If your pictures aren't good enough, you aren't close enough - Robert Capa.

When I have a camera in my hands, I’m truly happy.

Ever since my first job in television, over 15 years ago, I’ve had the benefit of understanding formats and content in the media industry through composition and framing.

For me, this is the basis of storytelling. I have worked for many television and entertainment broadcast companies, as a shooting producer director, including the BBC, MTV UK and MTV Australia (Sydney), Endemol UK, Fremantle Media / Talkback Thames, Sky Arts and VICE. I’ve also worked on a variety of digital and branded content slates for well known brands such as Nintendo, Sega, Bethesda, BBC Three, Sony Music and VEVO.

Five years ago, I realised my dream of working in narrative drama by being employed on the popular television drama ‘Midsomer Murders’ as a camera trainee and I haven’t looked back.

I subsequently worked as a kitroom technician for 2 years at S+O Media (camera, lighting & grip kit hire facility in West London, U.K.) and I’ve developed into a strong camera operator, 1st AC (Focus puller) and a CAA licensed drone operator.

I recently completed my masters in Cinematography (MA Filmmaking) at Goldsmiths College in South East London (Sep ‘25) and I hope to continue to develop my camera operating and lighting skills as a cinematographer and DOP in short & feature film, music video content, commercials and documentary.

This year, I was one of eight people to be selected as part of the ‘Future Cinematographer’s programme developed by Hatch Films and in association with NBC Universal, which will allow me to develop further into the film and narrative industry as a DOP; and I’ve just signed with ‘Loop Talent’ creative services as a Camera Operator and 1st AC.
